• In a move to support housing security and community well-being, Home Federal Bank recently announces a $200,000 donation to local nonprofit organizations that provide safe, affordable housing solutions throughout the East Tennessee region. The funding will be distributed among trusted nonprofit partners dedicated to housing stability, homelessness prevention and neighborhood revitalization.

• Wellpoint Tennessee recently hosted “Laundry Day” to support whole health in Knoxville, as families took part in the community-centered event, transforming laundromats into centers of wellness and support by combining free laundry services with access to health resources.
• East Tennessee Children’s Hospital recently was recognized for patient safety and excellence in sedation when it was named the February Solutions for Patient Safety Hospital of the Month.
It was chosen from among 140 hospitals.
