KCSO reports

• At 9:46 a.m., Monday, June 9, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office West Precinct to report a motor vehicle theft from U-Haul of Farragut, 10833 Kingston Pike. Complainant advised the listed vehicle was rented to the suspect on Wednesday, June 4, with the promise of returning it on Thursday, June 5. Complainant sent out a certified demand letter on Friday, June 6.

Complainant has not spoken with the suspect since June 4 and does not know where the listed vehicle is located. Complainant (said a) Parkside Drive (address) in Farragut is the address the suspect provided on the documents used to rent the listed vehicle.

• At 12:15 p.m., Sunday, June 8, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a theft at a Lanesborough Way apartment. Victim advised “she received a phone call from the listed suspect stating she was there to drop off the complainant’s Walmart delivery,” the report stated. “She (said) she went outside to get her package and discovered the listed suspect was nowhere to be found and did not drop off the package. Complainant advised she contacted Walmart and they advised it showed delivered on their end, and (advised filing) a police report to start an official complaint.”

• At 5:43 p.m., Friday, June 6, a KCSO unit was dispatched to a Kingston Pike address in reference to a burglary of a business. Officer made contact with the owner, who “advised me he had security video of a woman entering the back door of the business and walking through the store at approximately (12:38 p.m.) on June 6,” the report stated.

“I viewed the videos and (owner) submitted them to Axon Evidence to secure the video evidence. (Owner said) there was nothing missing from his business and that everything appeared to be normal,” the report further stated. “I did not observe any pry marks on the back door where the suspect entered into the business.”
