Barb Cutler of Farragut (left) was honored for her creativity and excellent workmanship at 44th Annual Quilt Show & Competition, hosted by the Smoky Mountain Quilters of Tennessee Friday and Saturday, June 20-21, in Knoxville Expo Center. “The quilt show featured more than 200 stunning quilts and over $7,800 in awards,” a SMQT press release stated. Cutler received a first-place award for her quilt “Sweet Mathilde” in the Kits and Alternative Techniques category.
