January

• Costco got the go-ahead from Farragut Municipal Planning Commission on its site plan to expand its fuel center at 10745 Kingston Pike during FMPC’s meeting Thursday, Jan. 16. FMPC unanimously approved the request.

• Poppets Play Place cut the ribbon on its indoor playground business at 154 West End Ave., Tuesday, Jan. 14.



February

• Sweathouz opened in the new Biddle Farms at Town Center, the first Sweathouz in Farragut.

• Build-out in Biddle Farms at Town Center was under way as Parlor Doughnuts opened Feb. 15 at 106 Biddle Farms Blvd.

• Simply Physio moved its office to 111 Fox Road, Suite 101, Knoxville, so it could expand.

• Dr. Joel Ash of Farragut opened Ash Chiropractic & Wellness at 12752 Kingston Pike, in Renaissance | Farragut, Suite 103.

March

• Volunteer Chiropractic, 10826 Kingston Pike, celebrated 20 years of operation in March.

• With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, business partners Ben Harmon and William “Will” Camp prepared to open their new venture, Dullahan’s Irish Pub, at 12744 Kingston Pike, in Renaissance | Farragut.

• Anchor 934 Apartments opened in Biddle Farms at Town Center, celebrating with a ribbon cutting Tuesday, March 29.



April

• Dunkin Donuts opened its second Farragut store at 13038 Kingston Pike on Tuesday, April 15.

• Pinnacle at Turkey Creek announced four new retailers coming to Turkey Creek: Sitka, H&H Bagels, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Barnes & Noble.

• Rather & Kittrell Capital Management’s team at 11905 Kingston Pike in Farragut celebrated 25 years in operation.



May

• Flying Biscuit Café opened at 11582 Parkside Drive in Turkey Creek, marking the brand’s 38th location nationwide.

• Ownership of Little Bangkok restaurant, 603 N. Campbell Station Road, changed hands May 1.



June

• Pure Magic added another location, 11133 Kingston Pike, near the Dixie-Lee intersection, in June. It held a grand opening in August.

• Skee Orr and wife, Amanda Orr, launched a new business, Kinetic Wealth, Tuesday, June 3, at 10805 Kingston Pike, Suite 130, in Farragut.

• The Seattle-based fashion retailer, Nordstrom Inc., announced its plans to open a new Nordstrom Rack in Pinnacle at Turkey Creek development in spring 2026.

• Hundreds of Sitka Gear fans stood in line Saturday, June 21, for the 10 a.m. grand opening of the new outdoor gear store at 11337 Parkside Drive.



July

• Kristine Nicholson of Farragut opened Elle Boutique in Biddle Farms at Town Center.

• A Dollar Tree store opened at 12500 Kingston Pike in the Little Turkey Creek shopping center next to Old Stage Road, in Farragut.

• Snooty Patootie moved its retail store to 11134 Kingston Pike, located beside Wendy’s.

• Bruster’s Real Ice Cream franchise owner Robert Allen, his constituents and Town officials broke ground Thursday, July 24, on its store that is being built on 1.57 acres behind Home Federal Bank just off Parkside Drive in Farragut. This was the last piece of vacant property in Turkey Creek, according to Town officials.



August

• Jill Langer, nurse practitioner/co-owner, opened Pearl Scott Health & Beauty, which combines a concierge medical practice with beauty services at 11048 Kingston Pike.

• Sprouts Farmers Market opened a new store at 9622 Kingston Pike, Knoxville Friday, Aug. 29.



September

• Madison Insurance Group wanted more visibility so it moved from its Cedar Bluff location to 10205 Kingston Pike, closer to Farragut.

• Tri-Star Power Sports & Marine opened Monday, Sept. 8, at 11470 Outlet Drive, next to TopGolf in Farragut.

• Braden’s Furniture in Turkey Creek announced the retirement of Gary Braden, second-generation owner of the store at 11105 Turkey Drive.



October

• Barnes & Noble opened its new store at 11334 Parkside Drive in Turkey Creek, Tuesday, Oct. 7.

• Tupelo Honey opened its doors in Biddle Farms at Town Center, celebrating with a ribbon cutting Oct. 23.

• Christmas Lights Knoxville celebrated 10 years in business with Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce members, family and other supporters at Davis Family YMCA, 12133 S. Northshore Drive, Wednesday, Oct. 29.

• Hurricane Cycles is sharing space with a new business, The Reef Coffee Shop, in the building at 138 West End Ave., in West End Center.

• Dalen Products, 700 Dalen Lane, off Gilbert Drive celebrated 50 years in operation.



November

• Whataburger franchisee MWB Restaurants LLC, opened its doors Monday, Nov. 17, at 310 Wild Geese Road, bringing its customized burgers, fancy and spicy ketchup and orange-and-white-striped fun close to Farragut.



December

• Wild Wings Café owner John McFarland reopened Wild Wings Café at its original location, 11335 Campbell Lakes Road, in December.

• Diamond Gallery opened for business, starting with a soft opening Nov. 28, but has scheduled a ribbon cutting for Wednesday, Jan. 28.
