• Covenant Health recently earned Accreditation with Distinction from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for its Nurse Residency Program, recognizing evidence-based standards that strengthen nurse readiness, retention and patient care across the health system.
This designation, the highest recognition offered by ANCC’s Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP), according to Covenant Health, affirms Covenant Health’s commitment to supporting new nurses through a structured, year-long transition-to-practice pathway. The program equips nurses with clinical decision-making skills, confidence and leadership development, ensuring safer care and stronger teams across 10 Covenant Health sites.
• Chris Hall recently has stepped into the role of chief executive officer for Remote Area Medical.
The transition comes as part of a long-planned succession process designed to ensure continuity, stability and momentum for RAM. As part of the process, RAM extended its thanks to Jeff Eastman for his years of dedicated leadership. Hall’s connection to RAM runs deep. He first began volunteering at clinics when he was 12 years old. He became RAM’s chief operations officer in 2013.
