Turkey Creek area to gain apartments, townhomes
Developers launch $80 million housing project on Outlet Drive
They broke ground on Laster Farms at Turkey Creek, 11471 Outlet Drive on Monday, May 4.
“It’s great to see you all out here,” Trinitas co-founder and co-owner Chris King said just before breaking ground on the development. “It’s a super beautiful day, which is great.
“This is the first multi-family deal that we’ve done, so we’re super-excited,” he said. “We just want to thank Millstone for this opportunity.”
Trinitas Ventures of Lafayette, Indiana, is a fully integrated real estate firm combining data-driven planning, disciplined execution and design-forward development while Millstone Ventures of Indianapolis, Indiana, is a vertically integrated real estate development and construction firm specializing in multifamily development.
The ceremony, held on-site in Knox County, marks the official start of construction on a community that will “introduce 320 new residences to one of the Knoxville region’s fastest-growing corridors,” a press release stated. “First move- ins are expected by summer 2027.”
The $80 million project will deliver 240 apartments and 80 townhomes featuring a “modern farmhouse aesthetic with high-end finishes and a cohesive design that blends interior and exterior living,” said Andy Weatherford, a co-owner of Millstone Ventures.
“The apartment units are going to be elevated finishes, first-in-class, top of market,” he said, adding they will feature quartz countertops, luxury vinyl plank, and beverage coolers.
Additionally, “we’re going to deliver some resort-style amenities,” Weatherford added.
One-, two- and three-bedroom layouts will be available, with rents expected to range from $1,800 to $2,800 per month, according to the release.

“Residents will have access to a clubhouse and fitness center, resort-style pool, golf simulator, outdoor lounge areas and entertainment lawns,” the press release stated. “Situated near the vibrant Turkey Creek retail district, the community offers convenient access to shopping, dining and recreation in the Farragut and Turkey Creek area.”
The development is a partnership with Millstone Ventures, which identified and entitled the site.
