Dear Editor,
Why are we voting for Louise Povlin for Mayor?
Many residents, of which I was one, had lost faith in the Town of Farragut due to the actions of a previous administration who ignored our concerns, belittled our feelings, stomped all over us, and then sat back and forgot about us.
I am so grateful for the day Vice Mayor Louise Povlin showed up on my doorstep with much needed information and a sincere offer of assistance. That information made a huge difference.
As Vice Mayor, Louise Povlin encouraged us to reach out to her, the mayor and the other members of the Board and Mayor (Ron Williams) and Aldermen. I am glad that I and others listened to her.
Louise Povlin truly loves our community, which is evident by all the hard work she did as a North Ward Alderman and Vice Mayor, refusing to give up especially when she was being disparaged by those who felt they had the right to condemn her, both on a professional and personal basis, just because they did not agree with her.
And because Louise truly cares about Farragut, our community, and people who live here, she is running for Mayor.
